The available nursery for plants and seeds are expected to provide for the planting of 100 acres for this year 2019. FDA planned to prepare in October 2019 the nursery for the planting of 250 acres in 2020.

The mission found that these activities satisfactorily implemented with the involvement of the various communities of Foya.

The TRANSCO CLSG mission was headed by the Environmental Coordinator, Pakidame Kolani along with representatives of the FDA including Messrs William B. Pewu, Technical Manager for Research and Development and Oliver T Korboi, Silvicultural Officer of the Foyal Reforestation Project.
