…Executive Courtesy Call Reinforces Partnership between TRANSCO CLSG and TRACTEBEL
On Thursday, October 9, 2025, a delegation of senior executives from TRACTEBEL ENGINEERING SA paid a high-level courtesy call on the Management of TRANSCO CLSG. The visit highlighted TRACTEBEL’s ongoing commitment to the interconnection company and emphasized its intention to strengthen the partnership between the two institutions.
The visit to TRANSCO CLSG’s headquarters in Abidjan was organized as part of a continuous effort to discuss significant operational matters. It served as an important platform for both institutions to review ongoing initiatives and to identify additional opportunities for future collaboration.
TRANSCO CLSG’s senior management extended a warm welcome to the TRACTEBEL delegation, which included Mr. Laurent Margaria, Vice President and Head of Business Development, Mr. Thierry Cardinael, Business Development Manager, Mr. Gressens Steve, Senior Project Manager & Business Developer – Transmission & Distribution at TRACTEBEL ENGINEERING, and Mr. Arnaud Rouche, Business Developer.
Key TRANSCO CLSG executives present were Mr. Josephus Jigba Yilla, Acting Managing Director and Director of Finance and Administration, Mr. Etienne Bailly, Technical Director, Mr. Benard Jappah, Commercial Director, and Mr. Mohamed Keita, Senior Procurement and Contracts Management Specialist. They engaged in thorough and productive discussions with the visiting TRACTEBEL team.
A central topic of the meeting was the signature of the Framework Agreement that has been under negotiation with TRACTEBEL. The discussions also covered a range of other issues, all aimed at bolstering the collaboration between TRANSCO CLSG and TRACTEBEL.
As the Owner’s Engineer for the TRANSCO CLSG interconnection project, TRACTEBEL ENGINEERING played an essential role by providing technical oversight and managing the project throughout its implementation. The company’s critical involvement ensured that the CLSG project was executed to the highest technical and quality standards.
