In an effort to honor his commitment to the CLSG countries to deliver electricity in December 2019, the General Manager of TRANSCO CLSG, Mohammed M. Sherif, along with his management team is holding high level meeting with the project Owner’s Engineer (OE), in Brussels on the CLSG project acceleration.
On Wednesday, July 10, 2019, the TRANSCO CLSG delegation met with the CEO of Tractebel and discussed workable solutions to meet the December 2019 deadline set for the delivery of electricity to Monrovia.
During the discussion, Mr. Sherif challenged the OE to beef up its supervision activities to ensure the CLSG project is expedited to meet delivery timeline. Mr Sherif urged Tractebel to come out with tangible solutions that will mitigate challenges in the process.

In response, the General Manager of Tractebel Belgium, Denis Lohest, assured the TRANSCO CLSG of its company’s full commitment to implementing the CLSG project. He said the OE will, in the next few days come out with possible solutions to move the project implementation forward.
Traveling with Mr. Sherif are the Director of Finance and Administration, Josephus Jigba Yilla and the Procurement and Contract Management Specialist, Mohamed Keita.
