The CLSG project implementation has got another major boost with the construction of the Nzerekore substation coming online in N’Zérékoré, Guinea’s second largest city. EPC contractor, KEC is conducting soil investigation or geotechnical investigation on site.

The development has sparked celebration in the region as men wearing orange and yellow construction jackets dig deep in the soil to determine the physical properties of the soil at the construction site. Soil investigation is a procedure that is done with the aim of establishing whether the soil is safe and solid for construction.

TRANSCO CLSG Country Manager of Guinea, Dr. Abdoulaye Keita traveled to the city and met with the Prefect (Superintendent) and all technical staff of the CLSG project implementation in Nzerekore.
