The Republic of Guinea is now the second country in the CLSG to complete the signing of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Cote d’Ivoire and the Transmission Service Agreement (TSA) with TRANSCO CLSG. Therefore, the much-awaited CLSG electricity would be commissioned in the country soon.
Over the weekend in Conakry, the Director General of the Guinean national utility (EDG), Bankaly Maty signed the TSA with TRANSCO CLSG while the General Manager of TRANSCO CLSG, Mohammed M. Sherif signed for the regional energy company. In doing so, Guinea has sealed the deal to receive electricity.
