Monrovia, Liberia, February 6, 2018: The General Manager of TRANSCO CLSG, Mohammed M. Sherif traveled to the port city of Buchanan, Grand Bassa County, to inspect project locations and also toured facilities of the UTE Elecnor, one of the EPC contractors.
Mr. Sherif was accompanied by the TRANSCO CLSG’s Country team headed its Manager, Jerry Taylor, and assistants including the Social Safeguard Assistant, Mohammed King Kamara, Environmental Assistant, Varney Corneh, Engineer Mohammed Sow, among others.
During the mission, the General Manager visited the proposed site for the substation in Buchanan and the workshop of Elecnor Eiffage UTE. The General Manager was pleased with the level of progress being made in advancing the CLSG interconnection project in Liberia.
He thanked the government and people of Liberia for the immense support towards the project implementation. Mr. Sherif assured that the CLSG project will be delivered and that it will benefit millions of citizens in the four beneficiary countries including Cote d’Ivoire, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea.
