The implementation of the CLSG Project makes progress as more transmission towers are being constructed along the Yekepa (Liberia) to Nzerekore (Guinea) corridor.

The General Manager of TRANSCO CLSG, Mohammed M. Sherif on Monday, June 7, 2021, toured the transmission line and the substation in Nzerekore, which is undergoing intense construction.

He expressed confidence that the project when completed will ensure stable and affordable electricity in the region.

N’Zérékoré) is the second-largest city in Guinea by population after the capital, Conakry, and the largest city in the region of southeastern Guinea. The commercial and economic center patiently awaits the arrival of the CLSG electricity which local authorities including the Prefet and Governor have said will boom economic activities in the city and the region at large.
