The Board of Directors of TRANSCO CLSG has appointed the Director of Finance and Administration as the Acting General Manager. This decision was made during an extraordinary meeting on Friday, March 28, 2025.
Mr. Josephus Jigba Yilla will assume the role of Acting General Manager starting April 1, 2025, until a new General Manager is appointed. Additionally, Mr. Ettienne Bailly, the Technical Director, has been designated as a signatory to the company’s account.
The interim General Manager will collaborate with other Directors, including the Commercial Director, Mr. Bernard Jappah, and consult with the Chairman of the Board of Directors. The interim General Manager’s role will have certain limitations as outlined in the resolution, including restrictions on spending outside the budget and recruiting new staff.
The outgoing General Manager of TRANSCO CLSG, Mr. Mohammed M. Sherif, has been appointed as the Managing Director of the Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC) by President Joseph Nyumah Boakai of Liberia. He will begin his new role after completing his tenure at TRANSCO CLSG on March 31, 2025.
